I decided that I was going to attempt water-marbling. So I tried to do one on each hand. Here are my attempts.
I used cuticle oil around my nails. I hated to use scotch or masking tape. I really liked using the cuticle oil. I used several different polish brands. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri on the three manicure. I found that it really stained my fingers. I did figure out that for me that it was easier to do all my nails all at once. I know that this is not one of my favorite ways for do my nails. But I had to give it one more try.
I also tried using my OTT lights and a little revision of a light box. What do you think about my pictures? Give me your honest opinion!!

ReplyDeleteWater marbling is tough. I respect anyone who even wants to try it :) I use Vaseline/petroleum jelly instead of cuticle oil coz I hate taping my fingers. I takes lots of practice to get the polishes right, then the design right. So way to go girl!
ReplyDeleteNow for the pictures, they look brighter, but I think you should angle your hand more towards the light esp in the last pic. maybe keeping your hand horizontal instead of vertical might help :)
