Items made by a HomeBody!!!

Hello Tadpoles,
I have not been completing manicures lately. I have been dealing with some stress in my life. I have come to realize that my Husband, or DH (dedicated Husband), has spoiled me so bad. That is a good and bad thing. Daniel has been a rock from the beginning of all of my medical issues. I have limited use of my left arm. I have developed extreme anxiety, sleeplessness, and an inability to be in a public. When I am in public, I have a hard time with not trusting people, ie. I get really scared that they are going to hit my arm again.
So I have become a homebody or I have to have someone with me at all times to "protect " me and my arm. Since April 2012, I have become a Nail Polish addict. No really, I just have found out that painting my nails and other things help relax me and I am happier. I love to share all my manicures and things that I make. I have become an Pinterest fan. I scroll through all the other beautiful things that other people have and share.
Here are the latest things that I have completed and sent to members of nail polish groups.

This a bracelet that I made for a friend in a nail Polish group.

This a necklace that I made for clear baubles that I used nail polish and stamps.

These are bobby pins that I painted with different kinds of nail polish.

This is one of  my own nail polishes what I made. It is a blue glitter.

Another nail polish that I made. It is a purple glitter.

This are the samples of my first own nail polishes.

I wanted to share what I do to help me relax. I have been diagnosed with a condition that is called " Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome", Anxiety, and Sleeplessness. So I am trying to share my life and things that I use to help me deal with life.
If you have any questions or comments, Please just ask or comment. Have a great day.

Love,
Chrisie

Look what I got from Canada!!!!

Hello Tadpoles,
I am so excited to share the beautiful gifts that I received from my friend, Candace. Candace has her own blog at http://lifeaskandistar.blogspot.com. I met Candace through a Facebook group that was called Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge. It has been changed to Crumpet's Nail Tarts that is about nail polish and nail stamping.
Candace and I connected quickly over nail designs. We also were able to relate in another area of our lives that most people do not share. We both suffer from anxiety and depression. For the both of us, having a friend that can understand and relate makes it easy to befriend them. We both have different causes for our anxiety and depression. Mine was having to deal with the loss of my left arm caused by an injury. I will let Candace explain her anxiety and depression at her blog, http://lifeaskandistar.blogspot.com.
Well, Thursday, I was chatting with Candace on Facebook and she was like a kid that had a big secret to tell me. She made me laugh because she asked if I had checked my mail box lately. I said "No", she was like "OK". I asked her why. She was like if I did or did not send you anything then don't mind the sales sticker...Again, I just laughed..
I had sent her some card making supplies due to having to leaving them when she moved. I knew that she had been having a rough couple of months so I thought that I would send her some stuff to help put a "SMILE" on her face. I did not expect to receive any stuff in return. But she sent me some of the coolest stuff. Check it all out....

I "LOVE" this the most. She draw and used colored pencils to make the design. Please excuse the crocked picture. I couldn't get the picture to stand up. This is the coolest thing. I plan on getting a frame for it. I will post pictures with it in a frame. She sent me some cool nail decal stuff too...

After all these items, I was like shaking my head. Then I found this at the back ..

I was so happy and had a big "SMILE" on my face. I am so eager to use the stamping plate. I love using large imagines on my nails since I have wide thumbs and fingers. It sucks that I only have 10 fingers...LOL..I know that Candace wants me to go crazy a little more...There seems to be a long list of instructions with the Minx stickers...I love her for it all. However, she did not have to send me anything. I sent her stuff just because she is my friend and I did not like that she was unhappy.
I will post pictures on my manicures with all these beautiful items that "Canadian Candace" sent me. I am so glad that we are friends.
Thanks everyone for reading...Have you made friends with someone through a facebook or blog? If so, feel free to share.
   XOXOXO, Chrisie

Change in plans...

Dear Tadpoles,
I have been have some thoughts about what I want to blog about. I am going to continue to blog about my nail polish and stamping addiction. I am a plus-size woman and I feel that "WE" have certain clothes and other issues that I want to share with everyone. For example, I have issues finding bras that fit me. I have just found a bra that I have fallen" In Love" with from Lane Bryant. I am going to be doing a review on the bra later.
Over the years, I have learned several different tricks dealing with sweating. I know what you are thinking, "I know how she feels!" I want to share the tricks that I live by. Recently, I just found a new deodorant that I am using to see if it is as good that is says that it is.
I want to begin to share more about myself as a whole. I have always been a plus-size person. I have been through different sizes during my life. I have experienced stages of self-hatred, anger, depression and anxiety. I feel that by me sharing all of this with everyone will help other people along with me.
I hope that everyone will continue to be follow me and will learn from me. Don't ever feel that you can't ask or comment about anything that I post.

Love, Chrisie

Quote of the day:

When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.
